I feel so lucky to have crossed paths with boylife - different projects in different lives, but crossed all the same. There’s so much to love. No matter when or where, he’s consistently the smoothest voice you can imagine, a creative and exciting delivery that could take a 180 at any moment, a deep care for the details, and just a kind person on top of it all.

It’s hard to listen to this album again and not feel like boylife was a step ahead. A wide-ranging genre-blurring album, but boylife’s heart and genius steady at the center the whole way through. All songs that would still feel brand new today.

peas was one of my most played songs the year it dropped, this stunning, encompassing love song. It’s epic in scale, but clears away for these tender and intimate moments. Vocals barely reaching beyond his lips. The production is so fantastic, this warm summer night of a song. It’s just perfect. Always has been always will be, so glad to fall back into its hold. <3 <3
