this synth of voices giving the creepiest rugrats intro imaginable. feeo’s voice a welcome touch of humanity, grounding me. the production remains bare, the synth, the vocals, and pitched down vocal too. it’s so beautiful, but the simplicity means moments like 0:29 where there’s a slight change in sound feel massive and thrilling.
we get a new melody at 0:46, i saw god in your eyes / in the valley between thighs. the lyrics pouring out like poetry. there’s a big bass that lands at 1:20, and it really wakes me up - the song has sucked me deep into it’s arms, the bass letting me breathe and see it from a birds eye view.
everything settles back into that intro/verse one setup, and it’s pretty transfixing. this time the simplicity makes me crave every single sound, needing something to fill all of this space. in this verse, feeo goes off, really pushing the vocals and they sound gorgeous. i taste god on your lips / on the blades of your hips / i see god every time / every time.
a perfect instrumental outro, a satisfied song.
