Max's Music Mondays ft. some stocking stuffers or something??

It's not the Maxies, but they're coming soon I swear!!!

Good morning, happy Monday, happy holidays, and happy almost new year.

I’ve been hard at work on The Maxies, but they just aren’t quite ready. Honestly, I thought I’d be done by now, but sometimes the writing has different ideas. It’s been a hectic last couple of weeks and just didn’t feel like they were ready. And now I’m in Florida with my family and don’t really feel like sacrificing that time to polish all the trophies, make the centerpieces, stock the bar, fill the goodie bags, etc. etc. (note: this is all entirely made up but you get the gist).

But it’s been too long since I wrote anything and, well, I like to write!! And I like to share music. And so today we get a special, one-of-a-kind, Max’s Music Monday treat. I’m still in the holiday spirit (Ho! Ho! Ho! See!?!) and thought I’d send along some stocking stuffers to hold us over into the new year. Famously, I am Jewish so not really sure if that metaphor hits, but no looking back now.

So below is a collection of songs fit for any occasion during this weird in-between week. Traveling to see family or friends, going for a walk by yourself, dancing while you cook, and carrying me while I write this. Something for everybody, an ambitious aim, but this music is so good it works. New and old, big and small, it’s all there.
