MMM continues to evolve!! Over the past few months I’ve been craving a way to blog a little more loosely (if you can even believe) about songs I love. And now I’m doing it!!

Intergalactic heartfelt indie music that feels entirely novel to me. I can’t articulate it, but this just feels like the kind of music a power ranger would make if they were cool as hell?? It’s so otherworldly and dark but still so warm and mesmerizing.
The opening riffs are sparse and sinister as Young beckons for a lover, or something like it. The drums drop in, the pace feeling unstoppable. I love the guitar shimmering its own melody alongside We can pretend that we’re in love. A moment of optimism in a gnarly little number.
Big shout to music legend and champion and icon and role model Margeaux who had this on her 2023 wrapped. I’ve been a sucker for it ever since.
